After school art classes well begin in September.  The forms were offered to the students last week.  If you are interested in signing your child up in the painting class there is still room in the second session which begins mid October.

The Art Program at Johnson School

Our students are always enthusiastic learners when it comes to art. They enjoy exploring a wide variety of materials and tools throughout the school year. They spend time discovering "artist secrets" as they learn about different artists, art styles, and art techniques.

The children study the elements of art and the principles of design as they create their individual projects. They learn how to interpret, understand, and appreciate art around them. Most importantly, students will develop the ability to use art as a wonderful vehicle for self-expression.
