Welcome to 5th grade! We are looking forward to a great year! The following is a supplies list which we would like your child to be prepared with when they come to school. It is very important that we set the tone early and being prepared is a major objective at this age. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions/concerns as we move forward. Good communication is a key ingredient to your child's success! We look forward to beginning an exciting school year on August 31st!

Supplies needed for both classes:

• Dozen Pencils
• Pencil case (preferably a soft, zip pouch)
• (1) 2 pocket homework folder
• (1) small package of colored pencils or markers
• Highlighters
• Red Pens
• (1) fine point black Sharpie

*In addition, every fifth grader needs a one-subject notebook for Music*

Supplies needed for Mr. DiSalvo:

Math

• (1) 2-subject notebook (non perforated), regular size please
• Calculator-no need to spend money on a nice one. Only the basics
• Ruler-PLASTIC, see through, inches and cm. No wood rulers please.
• (1) 2 pocket folder
  

Social Studies

• (1) 1-suject notebook (non perforated)
• (1) 2 pocket folder
  

Science

• (1) Black Marble notebook
• (1) 2 pocket folder

Supplies needed for Miss Mancini:

• (1) 2-subject spiral notebook
• (1) Black Marble Notebook
• (3) Pocket folders-different colors if possible
• (1) Package of Post It's

Optional but recommended:

• USB flash drive (Students can check out USB drives from our Media Center when available)
• Small Manual Pencil Sharpener
• Erasers/ eraser caps
