    Homework for the week of 2-8-10

    Disclaimer: Assigned homework is subject to change throughout the week. Students are responsible for recording their homework each night in their agenda.

    Monday:

     L. Arts for Dr. Leavitt: Write this week's spelling words in syllables, definitions and sentences.  Test will be on Friday.

     Reading for Dr. Leavitt:  20 minutes of reading independent study book.  Remember your list of books that you read since the Christmas vacation is due in writing on Feb. 11.  The top reader will receive an award!

    Sci: Final science project lab report A-G (typed) and display board (completed) due Friday 2/26

    SS: Work on project: if it applies to you!

    Reading:  Mr. Salvador:   Read new library book for 20 minutes and capture key events in your notebook.  Bring your current library book to class on Tuesday.

    Writing:  Mr. Salvador:  Complete the Treasure Hunt Pronoun Worksheet

    Math: Look at Ms. Bashers' page

    Tuesday:

    Sci: Final science project lab report A-G (typed) and display board (completed) due Friday 2/26

    Symmety Project - Quadrants 3& 4 (due Friday)

    Reading:  Mr. Salvador: Read library book for 20 minutes, capture key events.  Continue working on completing the board game due on 2/19.

    Mr. Salvador:  Writing- Finish your first draft, compare contrast essay.  The subjects are yourself and a character from a book you have read.  Due to be handed in on Wednesday.

    Wednesday:

    Sci: Final science project lab report A-G (typed) and display board (completed) due Friday 2/26

    Reading: Mr. Salvador:  Cut out and bring in, the Nutrition Facts portion of a food product's packaging.  This information is usually found on the side of the package.

    Writing: Mr. Salvador:  Complete worksheet on comma usage.

     SS: Work on project: if it applies to you!

    Friday-- Complete the chapter readings assigned to your block. 

    Block 1: last name A-J, pages 228 to 246; last name K-Z, pages 252 to 276

    Block 2: pages 68 to 93 

    Block 3: pages 136 to 160

    Block 5: pages 30 to 53
